Course Description

The marketing qualification is to enable learners manage processes responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer needs profitably. The qualification in marketing management will help you establish a market oriented organization with the emphasis on the customer. Holders of our Marketing management qualifications will have a good knowledge and understanding of the key principles of marketing and will able to relate this to the work place.

Entry Requirements

  • ESQF Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Management or Certificate in Business or commercial Subjects or 3 A level passes in relevant subjects
  • At least 5 subjects with a Grade C or better including English and Mathematics at National Senior Certificate Level (SA)
  • An international equivalent of the above
  • In order for you to be successful when studying this qualification, it is critical that you have an appropriate level of English Language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening).

  • The role and relevance of marketing to the management and operation of organisations in many different areas of the economy, including those which do not operate for profit.
  • Apply of e-commerce to a number of traditional operations, such as sales, communications, customer services and marketing.
Each year is made up of modules (120 credits and written assignments). Each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials comprise recommended exercises, readings and internet resources. A blended learning approach is adopted in the delivery of this course including, Classroom delivery (face to face taught time), Mentoring and coaching from tutors or external employers, E-learning, Formative assessment, Live webinars, Assessment support for assignment writing and revision sessions etc, The assessment for the course will consider the Eswatini business environment and the application by the learners to relevant local business scenarios and context.
